About Me‍ ‍I approach spiritual direction from a place of curiosity about one’s life path and finding new discoveries on that path.  Connecting to the sacred will bring clarity and fulfillment to your life.  The journey is an opportunity to become more spiritually ‘centered.'

Background and Purpose‍ ‍I like to describe myself as a warm, curious person, led by a keen interest in Spirituality. My faith, and what I would call, The Journey,” has been led and fed through a widening understanding of God/The Sacred. My deep love for nature and the outdoors is also woven throughout this.

I grew up in the Lutheran Church (ELCA) and over time became interested in and drawn to facets of other world religions. Though still active in the Lutheran church, the God I have come to believe in has created an edgeless table, where all are welcomed and celebrated, no exceptions!

This became especially important to me as I deepened my understanding of my own beliefs and Spirituality. It has also become an important element of my eventual “coming out” as Bisexual later in life.

I recognized my essence as a young girl, but the times were not safe nor accepting of being my true self. I am now living into my true self and, by doing so, am deepening my Spirit on so many different levels.

My purpose and role as a Spiritual Guide are to accompany individuals as they explore and seek a greater connection to God/Spirit/The Divine. Opening up to discover more about one’s true nature can be filled with possibility, wonder, and delight.

Further said, it is no small task to hold conflicting realities in tension. “The Divine” (call it by the name that is meaningful to you) acting in and through us, can help us overcome our feelings of frustration, disillusionment, etc. resulting in joy, compassion, and a sense of wholeness.

As a seeker, I have journeyed through many interests, or what I would refer to as “callings.” As a nurse, an early childhood teacher/parent educator, then massage therapist, all have been anchored in The Spirit and the community around me.

Some of my other interests include volunteering, hiking, camping, canoeing, backpacking, music, travel, knitting, weaving, writing poetry (especially Haiku) and social justice/community engagement.
